Install Teamline from the Microsoft Teams Store
To get started, you need to install Teamline from the Microsoft Teams App Store.
Open Microsoft Teams and go to Apps
Search for Teamline
Click Add to a team and select the team where Teamline should be installed
Important: choosing the right team
Teamline pulls users for surveys and reports only from the Microsoft Teams team where it is installed.
This means that only members of the selected team will be available as respondents when creating reports.
👉 We strongly recommend installing Teamline in a team that includes all relevant users. This ensures you don’t limit your ability to select respondents later.
Activate Teamline in the channel
After selecting a team, Teamline will appear in the message composer of the chosen channel.
You will see a message draft with Teamline’s name
Make sure to send this message to the channel
Once the message is sent, Teamline will post a confirmation that the bot has been successfully installed
A Create report to get started button will appear in the channel
Open the Teamline dashboard and create reports
Click Create report to get started
You will be redirected to the Teamline dashboard (app.teamline.ai)
From the dashboard, you can create and manage reports for your Microsoft Teams workspace
Once this step is complete, Teamline is fully installed and ready to use.
