How Google Sheets export works

Learn how to export Teamline report results to Google Sheets using webhook delivery

Teamline sends report results to a webhook endpoint created using Google Apps Script, which writes incoming data into a spreadsheet.


Step-by-step: Set up Google Sheets export

Step 1: Create or open a Google Sheet

This sheet will store report results.


Step 2: Open Apps Script

In Google Sheets:

  • Click Extensions โ†’ Apps Script


Step 3: Add the script

Paste the script from this link into the editor and save it:


Step 4: Deploy the script

  • Click Deploy โ†’ New deployment

  • Select Web app

  • Set:

    • Execute as: Me

    • Access: Anyone

  • Click Deploy

  • Authorize access if requested


Step 5: Copy the Web App URL

This URL is your webhook endpoint.


Step 6: Add the webhook to Teamline

  1. Open your report in Teamline

  2. Go to Results Delivery

  3. Choose Webhook

  4. Paste the Web App URL (Donโ€™t forget to press Enter after you paste the webhook URL to save it)

  5. Save the report


Result

After each report:

  • Results are automatically sent to Google Sheets

  • New entries are appended to the document

  • No manual export is required
