This feature is available only for Slack.

When report results are delivered into a Slack thread, Teamline can automatically notify all participants about every new message in that thread.

This ensures that no updates are missed and participants don’t need to manually follow or check the thread.

What are thread notifications for every message

With Thread notifications for every message enabled:

  • Teamline pings all thread participants when a new reply appears

  • Everyone stays aware of ongoing discussions

  • Threaded report conversations become more responsive and visible

This is especially useful for standups, status updates, and discussions that require quick attention.

Default behavior

Thread notifications for every message are enabled by default

You can disable this option if you prefer quieter threads.

How to enable thread notifications

Step 1: Create a report in Teamline.

Step 2: Customize Scheduling and Respondents & Questions
Set up timing, participants, and questions according to your workflow.

Step 3: Open the Results Delivery section.

Step 4: Select a Slack channel for report results delivery.

Step 5: Enable Thread notifications for every message
This ensures all participants receive notifications whenever someone replies in the thread.

Step 6: Save and run the report.

Once active, Teamline will notify thread participants in real time as new replies appear.

How it works in practice

  • Report results are posted in a Slack thread

  • Each new reply triggers a notification for thread participants

  • No need to manually follow or check the thread

Important notes

  • This feature works only in Slack

  • Microsoft Teams does not support this behavior

  • Notifications apply only to threaded report delivery
