How to enable Jira integration in Teamline (reports & timeline)

Learn how to enable Jira integrations in Teamline reports by installing the Teamline Jira Cloud app. After installation, integrations are connected automatically with no manual setup required

To use Jira-powered question types (like task-based responses) and connect reports to real work items, you first need to enable Jira integration for your Teamline account.

The simplest way to do this is to install the Teamline app from the Atlassian Marketplace.


Step 1: Install the Teamline app from Atlassian Marketplace

Once the app is installed, Teamline automatically connects the required integrations to your account - no manual setup is needed.


Step 2: Open Teamline and start using Jira in reports

After installation:

  • Your Teamline account is created/linked automatically using your Jira email

  • Jira integrations become available in Teamline reports right away

  • You can start creating reports that pull Jira tasks into questions (for example, task dropdown questions)

That’s it - you’re ready to build Jira-powered automation


Pricing note (important)

The Teamline app in Jira is free to install.

Teamline has separate billing inside the Teamline product, and you’re charged only for users who use Teamline - not automatically for everyone in your Jira instance.

So you can install the Jira app safely without triggering “per-company” auto-billing that many marketplace apps use.
